Karu First Look Launched by Prabhu Deva

Yesterday at 5 PM the Karu first look poster was unveiled by the actor and filmmaker Prabhudheva. The film is directed by AL Vijay. The film title refers to an unborn baby. The first look poster looks fascinating by way of it is set against a lush green background as well as stars the prominent lady, Sai Pallavi, closely hugging a child. The posture looks like that of a fetus inside a womb. Equally the dominant characters are located in the centre of what appears like a wreath.

Karu is said to be a horror flick and the maker of the film Vijay has truly created an excellent impression on the minds of the audience by the fist look picture. The film features Sai Pallavi the fame of Malayalam film Premam. She is making her debut in the Tamil industry by this film. The film will also be made in Telugu and the director has roped in young talent Naga Shourya for the male lead.

Once after winning the audience appreciation for the performance she has given in Premam as Malar during the year 2015. There were talks that initially Sai Pallavi was opted for doing the female lead in director Mani Ratnam Kaatru Veliyidai movie. Also similar she was approached for the Vikram film Sketch directed by Vijay Chander. Due to date issues, she was not signed to these projects.

She was roped in to reprise the role of Parvathy in the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit Charlie opposite Madhavan. The project has now been put on hold by director Vijay as he wanted to focus on Karu. This Karu movie looks as if like a dream debut for Sai Pallavi in Kollywood, by way of a vast possibility for her to showcase her talent. The film is produced under the banners of Lyca productions.

At present, the director Vijay is much awaited for the release of his forest action thriller flick Vanamagan which features lead actor Jayam Ravi and Sayyeesha Saigal in the female lead. The female lead is making her debut in the Tamil industry by this film. This Vanamagan film is all set to hit the screens on June 23.
