AH Kaashif roped in as music composer for Kaatrin Mozhi

Actress Jyothika has two movies in her kitty – Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Radha Mohan’s Kaatrin Mozhi. She was last seen in Bala’s Naachiyaar, where she portrayed the role of a headstrong cop. Her performance received critical acclaim and wide appreciation from her fans. Kaatrin Mozhi is the remake of the superhit Bollywood movie Tumhari Sulu. 

Vidya Balan played the protagonist in the original version and her performance received rave reviews nationwide. The Tamil remake is produced by Dhananjayan under his production banner Creative Entertainers and Distributors. Mahesh Muthuswamy is handling the cinematography, while Praveen K.L is taking care of the editing. Pon Parthiban is writing the dialogues for the movie.

Lakshmi Manchu is portraying the role played by Neha Dhupia and Vidharth is playing Jyothika’s husband, which was originally portrayed by Manav Kaul. Pre-production work of the movie is progressing rapidly and it is expected to go on floors in June. Latest official news is that Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman’s nephew A.H. Kaashif has been roped in as the music composer.
