Catch Out ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’- Trailer Review

As said earlier the one among the best-expected film of this year, ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ trailer is been released today and it has pretty well caught the imagination of fans of the excellent director Mani Ratnam.

Coming to the style of ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ film, the movie is supposed to be a romance film similar to that of “Alaipayuthey” except the set is played at Kashmir. The movie starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles where the hero is said to play a pilot role and the heroine as a doctor.

The trailer launches the lead characters and the romance among them at the snow-white and warm scenes of Kashmir at ultimate Mani Ratnam style.

As you might expect the visuals are excellent and the eminence that one would expect from a Mani Ratnam outing is purely complete. Ravi Varman who has teamed up with Mani for the first time has given his greatest and here there are superfluous special reasons to rejoice the visuals as the film is set at a fewer known land for Tamil film audience.

Karthi looks in with a clean shaven face lad, appears fit and far younger and his delivery of romance together with the emotional dialogues create us imagine yet another delectable performance from him.

Aditi Rao Hydari who is making her debut by this film looks her part and her expressions fit the expectations. In the trailer only these two are the recognised actors to have appeared on it. Might be the director desires to preserve the role and get up of RJ Balaji and further another cast as a surprise.

The Bgm of A.R.Rahman’s enriches the feel of the youthfulness of the movie that the trailer expects to carry.

The objective of the trailer appears to be conveying that it is a clean romance flick and Mani Ratnam powerfully registers that with his signature fixings such as amusing visuals, sharp dialogues and great music.
