The Norway Tamil Film Festival has almost entered every nook and corner all over the world and now they are entering to the glorious 8th-year celebration.
The fame is seen by way of the number of entries we had and wishes are till date coming continuously it seems even after the prolonged deadline. This shows how people honour the awards given by the NTFF and it is still recognised to be the prestigious awards.
It is said that there was a very much popular demand by the filmmakers of foreign language that to include the foreign language film in the category hence the same as been included from last year.
The appreciation of the festival over huge spectators is created on the neutral decisions and the efficacy of the festival team along with the glamour of the festival said the association.
This festival only for finding the talents known as well as the hidden talents and bring out them in public for worldwide recognition.
So now coming to the award winner, the best male actor award was won by the stunning actor Vijay Sethupathi for his performance in the film titled Dharmathurai.
While the Best Actor Female was given to the best talent actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar for her incredibly outstanding performance in the film Tharai Thappattai.
The best film award was received by S.R.Prakashbabu for given out a stunning movie like Joker. This film also got one more award for the best music where Sean Roldan scored the music composing for this film and got the award.
The lifetime achievement award was given to the legendary Actor, Director, Producer and Writer T.Rajendar and whereas the Kalaichigaram Award was offered to the Actor and Producer Prabhu Sivaji Ganeshan.

Once after the long gap almost 4 years later, the Andhra Pradesh’s Nandi Awards of 2012 and 2013 has finally revealed the list of winners for both years. Numerous of Tollywood stars have started recalling the hits to celebrate their triumph.
The Nandi awards for 2012 and 2013 which could not be finalised since of the tremendously volatile condition in the complete state at the light of the political doubt caused by Telangana statehood movement.
In the list of 2012 winners, the National Award-winning film Eega won the Best Film award. This film cast and crew also bagged 8 other awards in various categories. The best director award was won by the stunning director for the film Eega.
While the widespread music composer M M Keeravani won Best Music Director for rendering scores for the film. Kannada actor Sudeep played the antagonist role in this film and he too bagged the award for the Best Villain. The best Cinematographer Best Editor award goes to the technical department of Senthil Kumar and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao respectively.
This year best actor and actress award was offered to Nani and Samantha Ruth Prabhu for their blockbuster film Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu (YMV). Music maestro Ilayaraja too shared the award for Best Music Composer for his tunes in YMV. He shared it with Keeravani for Eega.
The Veteran actor Prakash Raj scored the best supporting actor for the film Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. This film also got the award the Best Lyricist for the Siri Vennela Seetharama Sastry for giving the best lyrics.
At the same time, Trivikram, as well as Pawan Kalyan’s hit film Attarintiki Daaredi too, won the award for Best Dialogue Writer. Devi Sri Prasad got the Best Music Director award and Nadiya the Best Supporting Actress for the film.
In the list of winners for 2013, Koratala Siva and Prabhas’ Mirchi bagged the award for being the Best Film. While Koratala Siva won Best Debut Director for the film, Prabhas went on to take the award for Best Actor for Mirchi.
Indian-origin actor Dev Patel has also been nominated for the film ‘Lion’ for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Meanwhile, two-time Oscar winner AR Rahman missed out on nominations in the Original Score category for the film ‘Pele: Birth of a Legend’.
The 2017 Oscars are set to be held on February 26 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The final nomination list of 89th Academy Awards was announced today and here we bring you the complete list:

14th Chennai International Film Festival had been hosted at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A lot of international films and Indian films were screened at the festival. Dharmadurai was screened in the ongoing 14th Chennai International Film Festival under the competitive category as one among the 12 Tamil films released last year and were selected to be screened in this prestigious film festival
Vijay Sethupathi has had six releases last year and the biggest commercial success among them was ‘Dharmadurai’.Dharmadurai directed by Seenu Ramasamy and featured by Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Radhika Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Rajesh and Srushti Dange was selected as the Best film.
Seenu Ramasamy and the film’s producer RK Suresh were awarded a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh by the festival organisers. Director Raju Murugan’ for his super hit film ‘Joker’ and veteran director Priyadarshan for his AIDS awareness feature film ‘Sila Samayangalil’ have also won awards under different categories.
