Trisha Krishnan began the New Year by resuming work on Tamil film Garjanai, a remake of Anushka Sharma-starrer and a critically acclaimed box office winner NH10. “And 2017 officially began with Garjanai” Trisha tweeted on Sunday. The first shooting is said to be happending in Karaikudi, Tamilnadu.
Trisha has an interesting lineup of films this year 2017. Apart from “Garjanai”, she also has Mohini, Sathuranga Vettai 2 (opposite Aravindswamy), 96 with Vijay Sethupathi and the recently-signed 1818, which is based on the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
Garjanai is an upcoming Indian Tamil thriller film directed by B.Sundar, a new comer director for Kollywood. Inspired by Navdeep Singh’s Hindi film NH10 (2015), the film features Trisha in the lead role, with Vamsi Krishna and Amit Bhargav in supporting roles. The movie also has veteran actress Vadivukarasi in the cast
