Trisha – always known as the Chennai girl , has definitely made her footprint elegantly through her comeback in 96. Her last Tamil hit before 96 was Kodi opposite Dhanush in 2016. In 96 Trisha was seen as a normal woman who transitions from a school girl to an adult settled abroad, married and a responsible mom. The story line describes an affection filled with innocence being it’s only measure; tragic twist in the end has left the viewers sorry for Ram and Janu while also pondering on their own story from way back.
Although 96 being a commercial movie Trisha has managed to do a splendid job with no words less than beautiful.
Her next one seems the biggest one of her career pairing superstar Rajinikanth in Petta, who she once stated as a dream come true project if it happens. Petta is completed and is in the post production works, it would be her next release in Tamil as the Sathuranga vettai 2 and Garjanai her older projects are still not seeing the light of the day.
Petta; is directed by Kathik Subbaraj under Sun pictures banner. Trisha playing the lead role is quite an achievement as it has always been her long-term dream to work with Rajinikanth. She already worked with Kamal hassan in two films earlier Manmadhan ambu and Thoongavanam both did not go well with the audience. Trisha is expecting Petta to bring her back to the top actress in Tamil cinema, we think 96 already did that though.
Gilli and Saamy days of Trisha are revived again in 2010, in her second phase, by Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and after a gap the “Chennai girl” is back to the top of her game with 96 movie and Petta
