Director Kasthuri Raja, father of actor Dhanush and director Selvaraghavan, is making his directorial comeback with a movie titled Pandi Muni. The last movie in his direction was the 2006 movie Idhu Kadhal Varum Paruvam. In Pandi Muni, well-known Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff is playing an Aghori named ‘Muni’.
Nikesha Patel, Meghali, Sivasankar and Sayaji Shinde are playing crucial roles in the movie. Srikanth Deva is composing the music, while Madhu Ambat is handling the cinematography. While speaking about this movie, Kasthuri Raja said, “This is a different movie from me. Until now, I have directed movies focusing on rural life, love and family sentiments. In this movie, I have dealt with horror.
‘Pandi Muni’ will focus on a war between God and ghost. It is a periodic horror movie, revolving around a haunted bungalow in a 70 year old forest. The first achievement was Jackie Shroff’s agreement to act in the movie after listening to the story. We are planning to shoot the movie in Malaysia, Thailand, Kurangani and Javadi Hills.”
