Raghava Lawrence is back with third instalment of Kanchana. It has enough commercial elements loaded with eerie moments to make it an entertaining fare.
Besides Raghava Lawrence, there is Vedhika, Oviya in key roles. Nikki Tamboli dons a pivotal role. Helmed by Raghava Lawrence himself, there is enough music and dance, comical elements, action scenes and some horror moments. A revenge drama, it proceeds in a brisk pace.
Raghava (Lawrence) is a timid guy who is afraid of ghosts. Quite like earlier parts, here he is possessed by a couple of ghosts. They want to take revenge on a powerful politician! The film begins with one of the two ghosts — Kaali (Lawrence again) who runs a home for needy kids and physically challenged youngsters. He is lured by by greedy politician with black money. When he says no, he and his kids are killed. Kaali and his lover enter Raghava’s body to take revenge.
Lawrence is at it again. He does the role with ease. Comedy comes good for him. He brings out right variation in both the roles.
Kovai Sarala, Sriman, and Devadarshini brings laughter. Vedhika, Oviya and Nikki Tamboli are cute and bubbly.
