Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga – Movie Review & Rating

Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga is a 2017 Tamil-language comedy thriller film written and directed by R. Parthiban, which stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Parvathy Nair in the lead roles released on January 14, 2017 on the day of Pongal festival as the only Tamil film to share the Pongal weekend at the Box office with Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s ‘Bairavaa’.

The film deals with the lives of three people, Kevin (Shanthnu), Rangaraj (Parthiban) and Mohini (Parvathy Nair), who live together in a cottage house. Revealing more than this about the plot can be a spoiler and hence we aren’t going to divulge more about this.

This film will be an important one in Shanthnu’s acting career as he has given his mature best and expressions convey varied emotions. Parvathy Nair is seductive, and her role is a bold one, but she doesn’t make a significant impact.

Thambi Ramaiah’s humor works at very few places. Parthiban, as usual, has given a neat performance. His innocent look, body language, and behavior throughout the film are good to watch.

According to Kollywood sources, we have gathered from sources in the Box Office Trade circles, the film without any star attraction has achieved a ‘Good Opening’ in Chennai city.Having released in 13 screens across Chennai, the film has had 52 shows in its first two days of release (January 14 & 15)

Our Rating : 2.5/5

1. Parthiban performance and dialogue is plus.
2. There is no chemistry between any of the actors.
