Tamilnadu Oxygen allocation has been nearly doubled now – Center announces

Tamilnadu Chief minister Stalin has requested center to allocate 500 metric tons of Oxygen for Tamilnadu under the center’s quota. He has written letter to prime minister and later had a chance to speak to the PM. It was earlier 220 metric tons.

PM Modi has confirmed he has discussed with newly elected chief minister Stalin and accepted his request due to hugely rising demand for Oxygen in the state.

Now Tamilnadu’s quota for Oxygen has been increased to 419 metric tons, which is almost double the earlier allocation. There are multiple reasons behind it, as center has revamped the oxygen production across multiple states in war footing, including involving defense help
