Trisha wraps up shoot for Garjanai, Sathuranga Vettai 2 and Mohini. Trisha who was earlier last seen in Dhanush movie title Kodi as Rudhra. At present, she is busy with several projects such as Garjanai, Sathuranga Vettai 2 and Mohini. Now Trisha has tweeted in her official page that the shooting of the three films has been wrapped.

This movie is the remake of Anushka Shetty’s 2015 movie NH10. The film features Garjanai Trisha being in the lead role and Amit Bhargav plays the husband role for Trisha. The film also features Vamsi Krishna who plays the chief antagonist role. The other cast and crew in this film are Sriranjini, Vadivukkarasi, Madurai Muthu, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Madhumita and Sarath. Recently pics from the shooting spot was released.
It seems that veteran actress Vadivukarasi plays the role of a village head. This movie down south could also be Trisha’s way of taking a strong hold in terms of solo heroine films.
Mohini which is the upcoming Tamil horror film written and directed by Ramana Madhesh who was the assistant director of Shankar. The film features Trisha and Jackky Bhagnani in the lead roles. The film was shooting all across the London region. The film is produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banners of Marvel worth Productions. The team has also shot some sequences in Mexico and Thailand.
Sathuranga Vettai 2
Sathuranga Vettai 2 is the sequel to the 2014 super hit film Sathuranga Vettai. The film stars Trisha and Arvind Swami in lead roles and Daniel Balaji is in an important role. The film is directed by NV Nirmal Kumar.
Apart from these projects, Trisha is involved in other projects like Saamy 2, the sequel to her 2003 hit film starring Vikram title Saamy. Apart from this, she is also on the project titled Hey Jude a romantic movie together with Nivin Pauly. 96 featuring Vijay Sethupathi is also another project that she is considering forward to and 1818, directed by Rithun Sagar about the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, is moreover in progress.
